In the past few months I have rekindled my passion for photography by purchasing a digital SLR and taking some extension courses. I am currently enrolled at the Minneapolis Community Technical College, where I am seeking knowledge with the new technologies in photography and  developing my techniques.         

    I am building on knowledge I gained in the past from attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the Minneapolis Community College’s film program. Over the years, I have photographed for album covers, band promotional shots, model portfolios, slide shows for musical performances, and wedding and graduation shoots. Walking around cities, through nature settings, or to points of interest, is where my eyes open up and I capture what visually excites me.

    Even though I am looking towards the future and working to catch up with technology, I do still embrace the format of film. I plan to use both mediums of digital and film for future projects. I also plan on scanning my backlog of negatives and slides and present them for viewing and print.
